Casablanca is the oldest and most famous jazz club in the Netherlands.
Many jazz stars have been on stage here. Every week there are plenty of big bands that play here like: Biggies big band, the Kosmosis big band and the Bucket big band.
As early as 1946, people danced to the jazz sounds of Kid Dynamite, Teddy Cotton and other jazz artists performed on this spot, on the Zeedijk in Amsterdam. Adele Bloemendaal sang a song about Casablanca, in which she made a link between the nightclub and the transgenders who found a safe place.
Nowadays Casablanca Music is the karaoke bar of Amsterdam.
From Monday to Saturday we sing and dance (karaoke). If a band is playing, the karaoke will start after the band, otherwise the karaoke starts at 8:00 PM.
